ETG Landwork is a land clearing company in Wingate, NC, owned and operated by Luis Gallardo. Luis handles land clearing, forestry mulching, demolition, and site preparation for homeowners, landowners, and commercial customers across the Charlotte region and beyond. Luis learned this work the hands-on way. He spent about three years working on a farm, where the day-to-day jobs included demolition, grading, and clearing land. Along the way he ran just about every machine on the property, including skid steers, tractors, excavators, and a dozer.
People who came to visit the farm started noticing the work. When they mentioned they had a lot to clear or something to tear down, Luis offered to help, and those side jobs turned into steady word-of-mouth work. In July 2026, he made it official and opened ETG Landwork.
The honest answer is that Luis likes this work. Running a skid steer or an excavator and watching a piece of ground change from overgrown to usable is what got him into it, and he wanted to do it full time. ETG Landwork is how he turned that into a business that other people can count on.

ETG Landwork owns its own skid steer and rents additional equipment when a job calls for it, so the machine on your site is matched to the work instead of forcing one machine to do everything. If the job can be done with a skid steer or an excavator, there is a good chance Luis can handle it.
He also works well with other trades. Local concrete crews already call Luis to grade driveways before they pour and to dig footings, so builders and contractors can bring him in for the groundwork and keep their own schedule moving.
ETG Landwork takes on both residential and commercial projects, from clearing a single homesite to larger acreage. One recent land clearing job covered 14 acres. Luis is building the business with commercial work in mind, and the long-term goal is to grow into a crew that can take on large commercial projects.
Outside of running equipment, Luis also has experience as a welder. It is a smaller part of what ETG Landwork offers, but it comes in handy on jobs that need it, and you are welcome to ask about it when you call.
